Investor Information

Signe BioPharma has already achieved important business and scientific milestones.

Signe's technology is based on at least $8 million of peer reviewed grant funded research (Dr. David Sirbasku, Principal Investigator) and the experience developed during these studies. Dr. Sirbasku's funding for the study of breast and other steroid hormone dependent cancers was provided by peer-reviewed grants from the following organizations: The National Cancer Institute, The National Action Plan on Breast Cancer, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Clayton Foundation, the Cancer Federation, the Women's Fund for HER, the Council for Tobacco Research, and the Congressionally Directed Medical Research (CDMR) U.S. Army Breast Cancer Research Program.

Co-Founders (David and Donna Sirbasku) have personally seed invested more than $1.7 million to start Signe. Another group of founding investors purchased 2.5% of the authorized shares of Signe BioPharma Inc. Their investment provided the company with a first round valuation of $4 million.

Signe seeks the next investment of $1.5 to 2.0 million to continue development of its extensive intellectual property portfolio and to achieve a focused set of business goals. These goals include outsourcing initial research designed to expand specific areas of the business plan and to prepare Signe for its next phase of development. Thereafter, the company will seek an additional $5-8 million to initiate in-house laboratories and to start biopharmaceutical production facilities. Investment funds also will be used to register the company either on the London AIM (Alternative Investment Market) or on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTC BB). This strategy permits sale of stock either by Private Placement Memorandum to qualified investors or sale of stock directly on the internet to raise additional capital from world-wide sources.  Entry into public markets gives commercial recognition to the company.  It also provides liquidity for all investors. Sophisticated investors are invited to evaluate this exciting new biopharmaceutical business. Contact information is provided.
